Fatima the ordinary style girl ready for iftaar party 8 may 2020
Ready for Iftar Party

Once upon a time, in 2019, human beings were allowed to go outside; most of them used to have dinners at some ancient restaurants.

There was a month of Ramadan in that era, in which all the fasting Muslims used to have iftar parties, some of those parties were arranged at home and some were arranged with a delicious buffet at some restaurant.

Then came the era of 2020, and humanity got stuck inside the walls of their houses. No more buffet parties, no more Iftar or Sehri in friends/family gathering, no more late-night pizza party, no more sleepovers.

In this lockdown period, I did some experiments, for example, a homemade herbal facial mask, removed my facial hair with a painless method, made my eyebrows at home, and shortlisted dresses for myself which I could wear on EID 2020.

I, too, was living the era of 2020 and suddenly, one day, the Malaysian government decided to bring back the old days. They decided to open the restaurants and allowed to visit friends and family but gathering should be limited to 4 persons.

This message was like rain in the middle of a dessert. So, my friends took the opportunity to invite us to an iftar party at their place (we were only 4 people). Excitedly, I decided on a simple and elegant white look for the occasion. It only took 15 minutes to get ready as I was super excited to go outside.

I also made a video for this makeup tutorial for my YouTube channel while getting ready.

So without wasting any time let's discuss how I did my makeup. I will explain it step by step how you can do this makeup by yourself in just 15 minutes

First of all, I applied Diadermine lift 50+ as a sunblock, let me tell you I wear sunblock before day time make up look no matter if its rainy or sunny outside. Diadermine will keep my skin moisturize and provide an extra layer of sun protection. you can use any sunblock+moisturiser.

After lathering my face with moisturizer, I applied e.l.f mineral infused primer. It is one of my favorite drug store Primer and used as a dupe to famous Smash box photo finish smooth primer.

I used only a pea-size amount of primer and spread it all over my T zone. Primer helps to close pores and minimize fine lines on the face. it also limits sebum production and keeps or foundation matte for a few more hours.

Fun fact is in Pakistan mostly girls don't even know about primer and its importance for a silky smooth finish foundation. That is the reason you see mostly aunties with cakey faces and melting foundations at weddings and parties.

Next, I applied only one pump of Famous Maybelline Fit me foundation in shade 115. let me share a foundation hack, always use a damp sponge to blend your foundation it will help you get the dew and natural finish. Blend, Blend, and Blend your foundation till you it looks like your own natural skin.

Use Maybelline Fit me concealer in shade vanilla to hide those dark circles. Always use concealer in two shade lighter than your foundation and apply it in a triangle shape under your eyes so it will blend with your foundation and gives natural effect without turning into a grey cloud.

NOW don't forget to apply translucent powder to set everything in. I used flormar translucent powder to turn the whole look done by a professional makeup artist.

After setting the foundation and preparing a whole ground to play with colors. we will start from contour, Again I used elf cosmetics contour palette and used a dull brown color in the corner to do contour on the side of my cheeks and under my jawline. I used the same color to contour my nose with a smaller brush.

Right above the contour line, I applied pink blush from e.l.f cosmetics blush palette and blend both lines well.

I also used the same blush on the tip of the nose as this is quite a trend and inherited by our famous Kareena Kapoor khan.

I used the same pink blush all over my eyelid as I wanted to keep this look minimal and according to Ramadan tradition. Then I did my favorite smudge eyeliner look which is only a two-minute task. I used the Maybelline Colossal Kajal pencil to draw a rough line along my lash line and then smudge it with a flat eye shadow brush
